In the second quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Turkey demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the weekly data for WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram, Snapchat, Getcontact, and Messenger.

WhatsApp Messenger saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at around 227K in mid-April and experiencing a low of approximately 129K in early June. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from around 41.5M to 42.5M throughout the quarter.

For Telegram, weekly downloads showed a significant rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 320K in the last week of June. Revenue also saw an upward trend, peaking at approximately $19.8K in the same week. Active users grew steadily, ending the quarter at about 7.4M.

Snapchat experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.6K in the final week of June.
